Brokers will not lose out in One Big Switch deal says MEZY chief

Mortgage EZY has always dealt with brokers and it always will, CEO Garry Driscoll has confirmed, as he dismissed concerns that the Big Bank Switch switching campaign would result in widespread broker client loses.

His assurance comes in the wake of the naming of the four non-bank lenders One Big Switch and CHOICE have brought onboard to participate in the now much publicized Big Bank Switch switching campaign.

They are Mortgage EZY, Resimac, Firstmac and Mortgage Port.

Speaking to Mortgage Mix, Driscoll said the names of the potential clients would be passed on to its preferred network of brokers.

"All clients will be contacted via a system of distributed qualified leads," he said.

"We will continue to support the brokers who support us."

Each non bank lender is expected to give discounts of up to 40 basis points to the 40,000 home owners who registered on the Big Bank Switch site.
